Peter Jackson: Lord of the RING

That's right. Reuters is reporting that Peter Jackson & Fran Walsh are going to serve as Executive Producers for the film version of HALO. Jackson described himself as a "huge fan" of the game. Next time I see him I'm going to suggest the inclusion of an elite unit of warriors, code name: ABRACADAVER.
